About Us

Established in 1980 by Madam Stella Hong, Stella-In International is a renowned Advanced Aesthetics Academy in the education field of Beauty Aesthetics, Complementary Therapies and Artistry Make-up.

As an ISO 9001:2008 certified academy, Stella-In is accredited by international examination board of CIBTAC (Confederation of International Beauty Therapy & Cosmetology, UK), CIDESCO (Comite International d’Esthetic et Cosmetologie, Zurich) and IFA (International Federation of Aromatherapy, UK).

Stella-In is also nationally accredited by Malaysia Department of Skills Development (Jabatan Pembangunan Kemahiran, JPK/MVLK, under the Human Resource Ministry). In 2011, Ministry of Tourism appointed Stella-In as the Official Centre of Excellence to train Spa Therapists in Malaysia.

In the effort to provide continuous education pathway for our students to achieve higher qualifications, Stella-In International collaborates with Chisholm Institute of TAFE (Technical and Further Education, Australia). For the 1st time in Malaysia, this collaboration enable Stella-In’s students to transfer credits of their qualifications at Stella-In to Chisholm TAFE for further studies in Diploma in Beauty Therapy and also Bachelor in Health Science (Dermal Therapies) at Victoria University (Melbourne).

Over the past 30 years of establishment, Founder Madam Stella Hong has been continuously contributing towards the development of the industry and society by doing social work using her expertise and resources. As such, Stella-In International has continuously carried out its corporate social responsibility by contributing in terms of our expertise & advice to support effort in events of fund raisings and vocational trainings for the physically disabled individuals. Among the recent projects were the establishment of the Wellness Centre of St. Nicholas Home for the Blind and training their therapists in Swedish massage, Earl J. Gardner Medical fund-raising, Aids Foundation, Penang for Japan Disaster Relief fund and much more.

Stella-In International has been consistently being involved in the production of Beauty Pageants (including make-up for Miss Tourism International final stage in Kuala Lumpur in early 2000’s), Stage & Drama, Entertainment events involving international pop stars. With our vast amount of experience involving productions of events and also with the great support from our esteemed partners as corporation, NGO and individuals, Stella-In takes up the challenge to organise the Miss Tourism International (Official State Visit to Penang Visit) to raise funds for charity while promoting Penang tourism.

At Stella-In International, we believed that beauty education is a holistic process involving the development of individuals’ skill, knowledge and also attitude. It is this all-encompassing focus that has developed thousands of individuals into successful practitioners, entrepreneurs & professionals.

At present, the academy has 3 centres that are located at the premier Gurney Plaza shopping mall in Penang, Bandar Perai Jaya in Butterworth and Jaya One in Petaling Jaya.
